Been aching to re-read (or read for the very first time) SHATTER ME by Tahereh Mafi? Join our read-a-thon from December 17 – 23!
Last week we played around with a new idea – gathering together as many people as we can to do a big, week-long re-read of Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. We considered it quite successful and it seemed like you all had a fun time doing it, so we thought we would try it again.
Starting Monday, December 17th, we’re hosting a re-read-a-thon for SHATTER ME by Tahereh Mafi! If you participate, you’ll be eligible to win a signed, hardcover copy of the sequel Unravel Me!
Here’s how to participate:
1. Sign up for the re-read by commenting on this post! Feel free to share your Twitter handle so we can all be friends online and chat during the week!
2. Locate your copy of Shatter Me on your bookshelf, you’ll probably need it. (Don’t have a copy? We have all your shopping links here.)
3. Start reading from chapter one on Monday, December 17th and aim to finish the book by Sunday, December 23rd!
4. Share your progress with us! Post your thoughts, favorite quotes, lines, ect either on this forum or with Tahereh @TaherehMafi or with us @PitchDarkBooks on Twitter! Make sure to use the hashtag #ShatterMe when tweeting or posting on Instagram. We’re collecting the tweets and posts throughout the week for a roundup of the re-read at the end. (See the Under the Never Sky roundup post as an example.)
5. Anyone who participates by reading, tweeting or posting on this forum is automatically entered to win a signed, finished copy of Unravel Me. 10 Winners will be chosen and announced on the wrap up blog post on Monday, December 24th. (We’re so sorry, but we can only choose US or Canada residents as winners.)

I’m in. It’s been on my to-read list for a while and now seems like the perfect time.
Totally doing this! My friend and I spent a weekend going around to all the bookstores around our city and searched out Shatter Me books. We then placed them strategically around the store so more people would see it and read it!
I’d love to, but the first half of the week I’m still in school, and I don’t know if I can get a copy in time when I get back
